1.      What kind of ingredients are used in JudiCakes?

Judy is passionate about finding just the right taste experiences for JudiCakes.  To this end, she uses only the freshest and finest all-natural ingredients in her made-from-scratch products.   Our bakers use chemical-free flour and pure extracts with no preservatives or artificial ingredients. The fruit in our cakes is either fresh or dried with no chemical treatments or preservatives. Any alcohol used in our cakes evaporates in the cooking processes.

2.      Are JudiCakes guaranteed?

Yes!  If you try one of our cakes and don’t agree that it is the most memorable pound cake you’ve ever eaten we will refund the price of the cake.

 3.     Are your products gluten-free? 

We are sorry to disappoint our gluten-free friends; but at this time, gluten-free JudiCakes are still “under construction”. 

4.     What size cake do I want to buy?

That depends on how much of your cake you want to share.  If everyone has just a single piece, the 9” cake can serve 12-16 people.  The 7” cake is the most popular size, and yields 8-10 slices.  The 4” Babycake is enough to share with one other person.  Sharing is optional on all cakes.

5.       Do you deliver?

FedEx will deliver your cake(s) to you if you live within the USA.

6.      How are JudiCakes shipped?

 Each JudiCake is hand-wrapped and then gently placed within a custom-fitted insert that rests inside a reinforced signature box.   The JudiCakes signature box is protected inside a sturdy shipping box.

7.      How do I order my cake(s)?

8.       Will JudiCakes keep my credit card information on file?

Absolutely not!  JudiCakes is in the business of making life sweeter, not storing personal data.  While it may be inconvenient to have to give us your credit card information for each and every order, the protection this policy affords is important to each of us.  For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.

9.       Is my personal information safe on the JudiCakes website?*

Yes.  Our SSL certificate insures that you can shop safely and securely online at

10.  Will JudiCakes send a receipt for my order?*

Yes.  All internet orders will be emailed invoice copies/receipts to the email address provided in the order.  If you place your order by phone, your invoice/receipt will be delivered by email or the U.S. postal service.

11.  What if my shipment arrives damaged?

Be sure to inspect your package on arrival.  If a package has been damaged in shipping and it is apparent when the package arrives at your door, please REFUSE the delivery.  If you already accepted a package and then discover that it has been damaged, call us immediately.  Be sure to save all paperwork and packing material with the damaged goods.  The carrier may wish to inspect it before processing your claim.

12.   How long will my cake last?

Depending on personal self-discipline, JudiCakes have a laboratory tested shelf-life of 7-10 days when cakes are kept at room temperature in airtight wrapping or container. JudiCakes can be wrapped well and frozen for 3-4 months with excellent results. Refrigeration tends to dry out our cakes.  

13.   Can I send a JudiCake to a school, hotel, business, or non-residential area?

With some strategic planning, JudiCakes can be shipped to schools, hotels, and businesses.  Most of these facilities, especially schools, require FedEx to deliver to a central mail location rather than specific rooms or suites.  It is then up to the mail center to contact or deliver to your intended recipient.   When shipping to a non-residential address such as a business or hotel, please be sure to provide the company name, suite or room number, department name, plus the recipient’s name and best contact telephone number.

We recommend that you contact the school or business to determine the appropriate FedEx shipping address.  We also recommend that you arrange for your gift to arrive before Friday, and let your recipient know to watch for a surprise that’s on its way!

14.   Can I give cakes as personal and/or corporate gifts?

Yes. JudiCakes make memorable gifts for every occasion and need. Please email to identify your corporate gift needs; and Judy will get back to you right away to create the best gift option for you.

15.   Is gift wrapping available?

Your cake gift(s) will be securely packed in a white gift box, and tied with red grosgrain ribbon. 

16.   Can I include a personal message with my gift?

You sure can!  We will handwrite a short note in your words, up to 22 words.

17.    What happens when my cake is all gone?

You can order more!

18.  Do you have more flavors?

We will notify our clientele as new JudiCakes become available. Or, you can visit our website for our newest flavor sensations!  If you prefer not to receive mail from JudiCakes, please use our Unsubscribe feature to opt out of mailings.

19.   Is the internet the only way I can get JudiCakes?

No.  JudiCakes are available in Atlanta, GA at Whole Foods Market, 77 West Paces Ferry Road, Buckhead, GA.  JudiCakes are expanding into more Atlanta Whole Foods Market.  We encourage you to check with the Whole Foods Market in your neighborhood for availability.

20.   When is the best time to place holiday orders?

Due to the volume of orders placed during the winter and spring holidays, we encourage you to order your JudiCakes as early as possible.  We will gladly take your holiday orders at any time during the year.  The deadline for Thanksgiving orders is 7 business days before Thanksgiving Day.  The deadline for Winter holiday orders is Dec. 12th for Ground Shipping, and no later than Dec. 16th for Expedited Shipping.   All other holiday orders must be placed no later than 5 business days before the holiday.   Judicakes LLC cannot guarantee FedEx arrival times, especially from Dec. 12th – Dec. 24th.  FedEx can guarantee on-time deliveries for all 1- and 2-day air shipments.  Please keep this in mind when placing your holiday order to avoid any shipping disappointments.

21.   Is there anything else I need to know?

Yes.  Currently, we are required to charge 7% sales tax in the state of Georgia.
